THE 49ER FESTIVAL AND CHILI COOK-OFF (O)
Groveland, CA
The Yosemite Chamber of Commerce plays host to the biggest event of the year here in Groveland, the Annual 49er Festival and Chili Cookoff. We start the day with a hearty pancake breakfast hosted by the Rebeccas, followed by an antique airplane flyover and then the parade down Main Street. From there we move to Mary Laveroni Community park with music all day, vendor booths, kids activities, beer, wine and our nearly world famous Chili-Cookoff.

WEEKEND IN THE COUNTRY (M)

Discover agriculture in the Sierra Foothills when you visit family farms, wineries, alpaca ranches, cattle and horse ranches and more. Attend workshops on nature photography, hummingbirds, bird watching, native plants and composting. Interact with local artists. Enjoy this spring weekend among the wildflowers.
This event takes you on a tour at various locations throughout Mariposa County where Agriculture or Nature is highlighted during the tour. Hikes, Photography, Workshops, Samples of Explanations of Agriculture in the county. Food & Refreshments Available.
